Please be advised that the Plymouth Police Department has been notified recently that we are eligible to apply to the Bureau of Justice Assistance for funds under a new category entitled, Justice Assistance Grant. The Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office is the official applicant joining with the communities of Brockton, Abington, Bridgewater, Carver, Hanson, Hingham, Hull, Kingston, Marshfield, Middleboro, Pembroke, Plymouth, Rockland, and Wareham. Plymouth is eligible to apply for $46,192 for crime
prevention and public safety initiatives. The funds are eligible to use over a four year period of time.
