Veterans Day Parade
Friday, November 11, 2011 at 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Hedges Rd. down Court St. to Cherry St. to Standish Ave. to the Veterans playground area to Hamilton St to Court St. to the Training Green.
The parade will assemble at 0900 hrs (9:00 am) and step off is at 0930 hrs (9:30 am) from Hedge Rd. in North Plymouth. The Parade Route is as follows: South on Court Street to Cherry Street, then west on Cherry Street to Standish Avenue. Then South on Standish Avenue to the Veterans playground area for a brief ceremony. From there the parade will proceed south to Hamilton Street to Court Street. The parade will proceed to Memorial Hall for a brief ceremony, (WWII Veterans). Then to the Courthouse area (Vietnam and Korean Memorials). The parade will continue on Court Street to the WWI Bridge, and to the Training Green.
In the event of inclement weather, the ceremonies will be held indoors at the Memorial Hall at 1030 hrs (10:30 am).
The guest speaker at this years event will be Bill Burke, a Korean War Veteran and Airport Commissioner.
