The mission of the Department of Environmental Affairs is to provide for the protection, preservation, enhancement, and safe use of the Town's natural resources, including beaches, conservation lands, and preserved open spaces; and to address environmental issues that threaten or may negatively impact the health, welfare, and quality of life of our citizens.
