Burial Hill

Per the Select Board vote of July 25, 2023, the following items are considered unsafe per OSHA rules and must be removed from graves:

The Town requests removal any of the above items prior to October 1, 2023. Any prohibited items not removed by then will be removed by Cemetery staff.

In addition, a reminder that items are only allowed to be placed one foot beside or in front of any headstone (not behind). No trees of any kind are to be planted. Vigil lights must be at the top of graves. No dogs are allowed in Town owned cemeteries.

The Cemetery Division is open, Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and may be reached at (508) 830-4078 for any questions.
