Household Hazardous Waste Collection & Curbside Mattress Collection

The Town of Plymouth will host a Household Hazardous Waste Collection on Saturday, April 8, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at 169 Camelot Drive, Plymouth, MA 02360. Learn more about accepted materials and other area collections. In addition to the materials collected at all events, flares will be accepted at the Plymouth collection.

Registration is required to attend the Household Hazardous Waste Collection. Proof of residency is required for all attendees. (Driver’s license, car registration, tax or utility bill, or transfer station/recycling center sticker). Only residents and small businesses from South Shore Recycling Member Towns may register and attend.

In conjunction with the Household Hazardous Waste Collection event, Plymouth County Mosquito Control will be collecting off-rim tires at no cost to residents on Saturday, April 8, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Registration is required. 

Can't make it to the Plymouth collection on April 8, 2023? Plymouth residents can attend any other six (6) events hosted by SSRC member towns at no cost with proof of residency (except Braintree which requires a copay).  The spring schedule can be found on the SSRC Household Hazardous Waste webpage.

Curbside Mattress Pickup is available to Plymouth residents on April 5, 2023, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. HandUp Mattress Recycling will schedule a pickup of your mattresses and box springs at your home for $50 per unit. Note that a mattress and box spring are considered 2 units. This partnership is between HandUp Mattress Recycling and the South Shore Recycling Cooperative. Please contact HandUp, not the Town of Plymouth, about issues pertaining to this. You must register for the curbside pickup in advance.
