ELECTION MATTERS

Because of COVID, the Commonwealth promulgated some changes to the voting process in 2020 and 2021.  We are returning to the earlier system.

Absentee voting is allowed only under the following:

Absence from Plymouth during the entire election OR

Physical inability to get to the polls OR

Religious inability to get to the polls OR

Incarceration for a reason other than a felony.

There is a new deadline for requests for absentee ballots:

For mailed ballots, the deadline is Tuesday, May 17, 5:00 PM, received in the Town Clerk's Office.

For voting over the counter in the Town Clerk's Office, Noon on Friday, May 20.

All Plymouth addresses have been updated in the state voter database and voters can now check their Precinct and voting location at www.registertovotema.com.  Click on "Check Registration Information", enter your name, date of birth, zip code; click the agree box and then search.  You will receive your registration information including precinct and polling location.  All households affected by the redistricting changes will receive notices by mail in the next 2 weeks.
