[ARCHIVED] Crossover Vehicle Access for September 6 & 7

The Crossover at Long Beach will open for vehicle access between 9:00am and 4:00pm on September 6 and 7.  A maximum of 225 vehicles will be allowed beyond Manter's Point at one time, which is the limit required by the Town's environmental permits.  An above average tide will temporarily limit vehicle access to some areas of the beachfront on September 7.  The tide restrictions will last about 1 ½ hours before and after the 11:45am high tide.  The Manter's Point guard shack will be staffed while the Crossover is open, and Long Beach 4x4 stickers will be required to access areas beyond the Plymouth Beach parking lot.

The Crossover will close next week (September 8 - 12) and will open for vehicle access on September 13 (9:00am to 3:00pm) and September 14 (9:00am to 4:00pm).  While the Crossover is closed, Ryder Way will remain open and parking will be available in the parking lots and designated areas along the road.
