[ARCHIVED] Reminder: Temporary Tide Restrictions 8/2 - 8/10


Above average or extreme high tides will affect vehicle access over the Crossover from August 2 through August 10. Each day the Natural Resources Officer will determine the timing and extent of tide restrictions and/or closures depending on tide height, beach slope and weather conditions. Vehicles may need to leave some or all of the areas over the Crossover.  Typically, tide closures last for approximately 1½ hours before and after the high tide. Please keep these tides in mind as you plan your day.

Tides for these days are as follows:

8/2   Wednesday   12:31pm  10.3 ft  
8/3   Thursday         1:21pm   10.7 ft
8/4   Friday               2:11pm   11.0 ft
8/5   Saturday          3:02pm   11.2 ft
8/6   Sunday             3:55pm   11.2 ft
8/7   Monday            4:49pm   11.1 ft
8/8   Tuesday            5:44pm   10.8 ft
8/9   Wednesday      6:42pm   10.5 ft
8/10 Thursday          7:44pm   10.2 ft
