The piping plover chicks located south of the Fishermen's Turnaround fledged (defined as sustained flight of over 50ft) the evening of August 12. The 7:00pm night restriction has been moved to the northern end of the Day Parking Area and will remain in place until all of the chicks along the road beyond the Day Parking Area are able to fly. The Day Parking Area, Fishermen's Turnaround and the designated roadside parking areas up to the Day Parking Area are available until 9:00pm per the Town bylaws.
