Overview
The Plymouth Department of Energy and Environment is responsible for the operation of Long Beach.
Seasonal Staffing
Long Beach will be staffed May 23, 2026, through Labor Day, September 7, 2026, and two additional weekends (pending sufficient staffing): September 12 & 13 and September 19 & 20.
In season, the Crossover gate is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., however, access can be restricted due to permitted vehicle limits, tides, storm conditions, and local, state, and federal laws (wetlands regulations, endangered species acts).
