The Town of Plymouth is pleased to announce the Roadway Re-Surfacing Project for the following streets:
- Davenport Road (excluding cul-de-sac),
- October Lane,
- Carolyn Drive (#2 to #27)
- Fresh Pond Circle,
- Cottontail Trail,
- Fox Road
- Rexford Road
The work will include roadway reclamation (grinding of existing paved surface) and repaving the roadway. This work is expected to start on Wednesday, August 20, 2025. Barring any inclement weather and unforeseen circumstances, work is expected to occur between the hours of 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday. The Contractor plans to start with Davenport Road, October Lane and Carolyn Drive.
We anticipate this work will take approximately six to eight (6-8) weeks to complete.
Before the start of construction, traffic barrels and signage will be in place to alert motorists and pedestrians of the construction. Residents may expect temporary parking restrictions, minor traffic delays, and possible daytime detours. We ask that you drive carefully and be alert to activity in the area.
We are asking that residents do not park their cars on the street within the work zone during the hours of 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Access to individual driveways should remain accessible, except when specifically working on your driveway. We ask that you look for alternative parking during those days and the Contractor will coordinate with you for that work.
The Town of Plymouth and our contractor Pawtucket Hot Mix Asphalt, Inc. will make every effort to minimize these inconveniences to residents and visitors to the area. However, due to the inherent nature of construction, some level of disruption may occur. Your cooperation with this important public works project is greatly appreciated.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact:
