Rocky Point Preserve
| Documents |
|---|
The Rocky Point Preserve is a smaller preserve located immediately along the ocean and provides an incredible high elevation vista of Cape Cod Bay, Saquish, Duxbury, and the outer cape on a clear day.
The Town has recently completed a clean-up of the site and creation of pollinator habitat, and finished the establishment of a walking trail with the Trails Working Group. The trail features two coastal overlooks, and a unique switchback hill descent.
* Please be aware that the ocean vista is on a high bluff which can be inherently and unpredictably dangerous. A railing has been installed but will not stop someone from going around it or under it, so please exercise caution and personal responsibility when approaching this viewpoint. We also remind visitors that there is a leash law throughout Town; keeping dogs leashed will prevent your furry friend from getting too close to the bluff.
*Despite its location, this property DOES NOT have beach/coastline access.
Trail Length: 1,600'
