Overview
This Office oversees all sustainability, energy, and resiliency efforts within Town municipal government and the Plymouth community, either directly managing programs and projects or coordinating with other Departments and local organizations.
The Town of Plymouth is deeply committed to being a sustainable and resilient community for all. The Town is a leader in sustainability and resilience in the region, the Commonwealth, and beyond. The Town of Plymouth strives to:
- Reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the most cost-effective way possible.
- Plan and implement cleaner equitable indoor and outdoor environments.
- Ensure all members of our community have access to the tools they need to be resilient in a changing climate.
Climate Action Plan
The Town of Plymouth is taking bold action in the face of climate change by creating a Climate Action Plan. The Town of Plymouth staff, board and committee members, and community stakeholders are collaborating to develop the Plan. The Plan will be developed over the course of a year and will focus on enhancing our community's resilience.
