Free Graffiti Removal Program for Private Property Owners
The Plymouth Office of Community Development is currently administering a FREE Graffiti Removal Program to assist residents and businesses in removing graffiti as quickly as possible from their property in order to discourage the appearance of further acts of vandalism.
The Town of Plymouth understands that property owners are victims of vandalism when graffiti lands on their property. Acknowledging this, a graffiti removal program will be offered town-wide at no cost to private property owners to assist them in complying with the new Graffiti Bylaw. In order to participate in this program, property owners must complete and sign a consent to enter and release of liability form that gives the Office of Community Development permission to remove graffiti from their property. Once it is completed, it is submitted to the Office of Community Development where it will remain on file.
What Properties Are Eligible for The Program?
Properties eligible for "continuous" removal services are limited to private commercial and residential properties.
Graffiti will be removed only from portions of the property visible from a street. In alleyways, graffiti will be removed only within 50 feet of the alley entrance as measured from the street curb. We do not remove graffiti from: construction sites, vehicles, dumpsters & containers, surfaces above two levels, private property not clearly visible by public right of way and locations with no access signs present.
