On summer weekends the lot can fill up fast so it is best to plan on arriving early. During the day it's not uncommon for there to be a delay in launching due to the availability of parking spots.
Our goal is to make launching your boat as stress-free as possible. Please be patient with others. On busy days an attendant will be on duty, please feel free to ask them for advice or assistance.
Kayaks and paddleboards can launch as well. They still need to pay the fee. Other alternatives for kayaks and paddleboards are Nelson St. and Stephen's Field. Keep an eye on the tides at both these locations as you could end up with a long muddy walk. Make sure you have a life jacket with you as well as other required and useful equipment.
If you have any questions please feel free to email the Harbormaster.
