1749 Courthouse Committee
The 1749 Courthouse Committee oversees the operation of the 1749 Court House Museum.

400th Anniversary Commemoration Committee
The 400th Anniversary Commemoration Committtee oversaw the Plymouth 400th Anniversary Commemoration that occurred in 2020. The committee currently oversees the legacy projects to commemorate the anniversary.

Advisory & Finance Committee
The Advisory & Finance Committee is part of the legislative branch of Town government and makes recommendations on all warrant articles presented to Town Meeting, are reviews, and recommends revisions to the Town's annual budget.

Affordable Housing Trust
The Affordable Housing Trust assists in identifying housing needs and housing opportunities for all income levels, while at the same time preserving our Town's character and resources.

Agricultural Commission
The Agricultural Commission oversees the administration of the Town's Right to Farm Preservation By-law, whilst encouraging the continued pursuit of agriculture in Plymouth.

Airport Commission
The Airport Commission is responsible for providing expertise and recommendations for the Plymouth Municipal Airport.

Board of Assessors
The Board of Assessors is responsible for estimating the fair market value of all real property in the Town.

Building Committee
The Building Committee meets with Town departments to determine the need for additions or renovations to any existing buildings or facilities, for the construction of new buildings or facilities or for the demolition or disposal of existing buildings.

Board of Health
The Board of Health is responsible for the promotion and protection of public health. This is done through education and enforcement of environmental, public, medical and mental health laws and regulations.

Board of Registrars
The Board of Registars of Voters is responsible for registering voters, making local listings of residents, certifying nomination papers and petitions, processing absent voter applications, and administering election recounts.

Cable Advisory Committee
The Cable Advisory Committee is responsible for reviewing complaints, suggestions and issues raised relative to the cable system, the licensee and the services provided, and to make recommendations to the Select Board on such matters.

Capital Improvements Committee
The Capital Improvements Committees assists the Town Manager and Finance Director in preparing annually a five-year Capital Improvements Program.

Cedarville Steering Committee
The Cedarville Steering Committee assists in the implementation of the Cedarville Master Plan and to advocate for the needs of the area.

Center for Active Living
The Plymouth Center for Active Living, formerly the Council on Aging is a department of the Town of Plymouth supported by local, state and federal funds.

Charter Review Committee
Per Ch. 7 Sec 6 of the Town Charter At least once every 5 years, a Charter Review Committee shall review the Charter and make a report, with recommendations, to the Town Meeting concerning any proposed amendments which the Committee may determine to be necessary or desirable.

Climate Action Net Zero (CANZ) Committee
The Climate Action Net Zero (CANZ) Committee advocates for equitable climate adaptation actions and greenhouse gas emission reduction strategies in sectors such as municipal, commercial, and residential buildings, transportation, energy systems, and land use.

Community Preservation Committee
The Community Preservation Committee is charged with studying the needs, possibilities, and resources of the Town regarding community preservation and with making recommendations to Town Meeting regarding the appropriation of Community Preservation Act (CPA) funds.

Conservation Commission
The Conservation Commission is responsible for the protection and management of natural resources and administration of the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act, including the Rivers Protection Act.

Cultural Council
The Plymouth Cultural Council thoroughly reviews and funds projects, services and events in the arts, humanities and interpretive sciences for public benefit.

Disabilities Commission
The Plymouth Commission on Disabilities serves as a resource to the Town of Plymouth community to address accessibility, equal rights, and other issues of concern to people with disabilities.

Distinguished Visitors Committee
The Distinguished Visitors Committee is Plymouth’s sister city relationships and visits from official delegations.

Elderly & Disabled Tax Fund Committee
The Elderly and Disabled Tax Fund Committee is responsible for implementing, determining eligibility, and maintaining the overall Elderly Disabled Tax Fund.

Energy Committee
The Energy Committee’s mission is to encourage and facilitate energy conservation, energy efficient practices, and the use of sustainability in the Town, including public buildings, properties and residential homes.

Harbor Committee
The Harbor Committee reviews and makes recommendations on issues relating to the waterfront and Plymouth Harbor.

Historic District Commission
The Plymouth Historical Commission is responsible to preserve, protect and document the historic architectural heritage of the Town of Plymouth.

Land Use & Acquisition Committee
The Land Use & Acquisition Committee researches and maintains a current inventory of all properties of interest, with a focus on parcels of significant size and parcels of any size facing the loss of Chapter 61 protection or parcels of value to the Town.

Little Red Schoolhouse Committee
The Little Red Schoolhouse Committee is responsible for the rental functions of the Schoolhouse.

Manomet Village Steering Committee
The Manomet Village Steering Committee assists in the implementation of the Manomet Master Plan and to advocate for the needs of the area.

Natural Resources & Coastal Beaches Committee
The Natural Resources & Coastal Beaches Committee acts in an advisory capacity to the Select Board on matters relating to the Town’s coastal and freshwater wetlands, barrier beaches, coastal plain ponds, and conservation properties that have beaches/waterfront.

The No Place for Hate Committee works to assure that the Plymouth community, as well as Town governmental departments and committees are welcoming, civil, collaborative and respectful to everyone.

North Plymouth Steering Committee
The North Plymouth Steering Committee assists in the implementation of the North Plymouth Master Plan and advocates for the needs of the area.

Open Space Committee
The Plymouth Open Space Committee is responsible to advocate for the preservation and maintenance of natural open space for current residents as well as for future generations in order to protect our aquifer, our environment, and the character of the Town.

Planning Board
The Plymouth Planning Board is responsible for the review of land division as well as review of specific development proposals. The Planning Board’s duties are largely identified under Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 41, Section 81A, 81B, and subsequent sections, and by the Town’s Zoning By-law.

The Plymouth Growth and Development Corporation (PGDC) focus its resources on the development, management, and operation of on-street, off-street, and structured parking facilities in the Downtown, Waterfront and North Plymouth areas.

The Plymouth Housing Authority operates, maintains, promotes, and provides quality affordable, and safe housing to eligible persons in the community with a demonstrated need.

Retirement Board
The Plymouth Retirement Board, which has the sole authority and responsibility for investing the funds and administering the benefits of the Plymouth Retirement System, is a separate and distinct entity from the Town of Plymouth.

The Roads Advisory Committee is responsible to review and make recommendations to the Select Board concerning a variety of road-related issues.

The Select Board represents the executive branch of Plymouth's Town Government.

Visitor Services Board
The Visitor Services Board (VSB) of Plymouth, Massachusetts serves as an advisory board to the Town Manager and the Select Board.

Water Conservation Committee
The Water Conservation Committee works to advocate promote, educate, and bring awareness on the importance of water conservation.

The West Plymouth Steering Committee assists in the implementation of the West Plymouth Master Plan and advocates for the needs of the area.
