2026 Plymouth Dog Licenses
2026 dog licenses are now available! Current dog licenses expire on December 31, 2025.
To procure an annual dog license, you may order the license by mail, pay online, or pay in person at the Town Clerk's Office. For the registration process, please keep in mind that dogs who are not previously licensed with Plymouth will need to use the mail option or visit our office in-person to obtain a license. In addition, all dogs that are older than six months will require a license from the Town of Plymouth.
Cost
Dog license fees are:
- Spayed/Neutered Dogs: $15
- Intact Dog/Non-Neutered Dogs: $25
- Additional Late Charge if registered after March 31: $15
Please note: If you have 4 or more dogs, special licensing requirements (kennel permit) apply. See below for more information. Additionally, there is no fee for dog owners over the age of 70.
Pay Online
Dog owners can renew their dog licenses online through City Hall Systems. When visiting the site, please click 'Search for Bills', select Clerk fees, and add dog licenses, shipping, and handling fees to your cart. You will have the opportunity to upload a new rabies certificate and update your information.
Please note: At certain times of the year, return service may not be immediate as all licenses are valid for a calendar year and expire on December 31.
