Last Chance: Take Plymouth’s Visioning Survey by February 16. The Town of Plymouth is gathering feedback from residents and business owners as it works to create the next townwide master plan. The master plan is an important long-range policy document that will guide future decision-making and budgeting.
Since the beginning of the visioning phase for Plymouth’s master planning process in June 2024, the project team has held a variety of in-person events and provided four online surveys to capture residents’ thoughts on the future of our town. The visioning survey and three topic-specific surveys available on the project website until February 16: https://tinyurl.com/PlymouthMasterPlan
The following surveys are listed in the “Get Involved” section of the website:
- Visioning Survey: For someone with only have a few minutes, this is the survey to take. It asks about their vision for the future of Plymouth and what is important to them. The questions are similar to those asked at the June visioning forum.
For those with more time or ideas about specific topics the Master Plan will explore, these surveys ask more targeted questions:
- Economic Development and Infrastructure (topic workshop #1)
- Land Use, Housing, and Transportation (topic workshop #2)
- Natural Resources, Open Space and Recreation, and Climate Resiliency (topic workshop #3)
- Provide general comments on the interactive map of Plymouth
All feedback is important as the project team begins to develop a draft vision and goals for the future of Plymouth, along with potential strategies to help achieve those goals. Later this year there will be new opportunities for public comment on draft strategies and the draft plan document through additional meetings and online forms. The Town thanks everyone who has participated so far and encourages residents and business owners to stay involved throughout the process.
