Around 4:10 pm this afternoon, U.S. Air Force fighter jets conducted a memorial flyover in the “missing man” formation—a powerful tribute used to honor fallen aviators.
While such ceremonies are not uncommon across the country, today’s flyover held special significance as it honored the life and legacy of Massachusetts native and renowned aviator, Rob Holland.
This event was coordinated with the support and approval of the U.S. Air Force and the Federal Aviation Administration, and was also approved by the Plymouth Airport Commission.
