The Plymouth Addiction Response and Improvement Strategies Effort (ARISE) was launched in January 2024 as one of the first initiatives of the Plymouth Health and Human Services Department (HHS). Plymouth ARISE is a coordinated community response to the local opioid epidemic, aimed at:
- Increasing community engagement
- Reducing stigma around opioid and substance use
- Strengthening local resources for residents and visitors
Through ARISE, grant funding opportunities are available annually to support initiatives that address substance use and addiction in Plymouth.
The FY 2026 Plymouth ARISE RFP will be released on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, on the Town’s website. This funding is available to eligible applicants working to combat substance use and support affected individuals. To assist potential applicants, Plymouth HHS has created a Quick RFP Guide—a brief overview of the application process and key details: HHS Quick RFP Guide for Plymouth ARISE Grants. While the guide serves as an at-a-glance resource, all applicants should review the full RFP when it becomes available.
Plymouth HHS will host a discussion on the impact of the opioid crisis in our community and the funding opportunities available through Plymouth ARISE: Plymouth HHS Community Discussion: Plymouth ARISE Grant Funding FY 2026.
