Overview:

Led by Plymouth HHS, the Plymouth Addiction Response and Improvement Strategies Effort (Plymouth ARISE) is the Town’s coordinated response to the opioid epidemic. The Town of Plymouth participates in the national/state settlements reached by the Massachusetts Office of the Attorney General and Plymouth ARISE is made possible through municipal abatement funds. Plymouth ARISE aims to increase community engagement and reduce stigma around opioid and other substance use, while enhancing services for residents.

Plymouth HHS is committed to investing in many impactful programs to address the opioid epidemic through Plymouth ARISE grants and other opportunities. The Plymouth ARISE request for proposals (RFP) opens annually. Grant proposals are evaluated by an independent Plymouth ARISE Review Committee comprised of volunteer community-based, subject matter experts. Registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations and municipal government entities that provide opioid-related services to Plymouth residents are eligible to apply. Previous Plymouth ARISE Grantees are also eligible to apply. *For more information, please access all grant proposal documents below.*

Plymouth ARISE Toolkit:

Plymouth HHS has partnered with other municipalities and regional organizations in order to share information about its approach to opioid remediation funds distribution. Please scroll down and check out our Plymouth ARISE Toolkit below for more information on our process and sample documents.
