The Administration of the Department of Public Works (DPW) is responsible for the management of the entire Public Works department. The DPW Administration's main priorities include:
- Developing the department's operating budget and long-term capital improvement plan. Whilst applying for grants to supplement the Town's funding.
Managing improvement projects and departmental procurement of outsourced services.
Providing technical assistance to the Town.
Assisting in the development of public infrastructure policies (snow and ice, permitting, etc.)
- Partnering with other governmental agencies (Old Colony Planning Commission, MassDOT, MassDEP, MassDCR, MEMA, FEMA) on projects within their jurisdiction located in the Town of Plymouth.
