Administration

The Administration of the Department of Public Works (DPW) is responsible for the management of the entire Public Works department. The DPW Administration's main priorities include:

  • Developing the department's operating budget and long-term capital improvement plan. Whilst applying for grants to supplement the Town's funding.
  • Managing improvement projects and departmental procurement of outsourced services.

  • Providing technical assistance to the Town.

  • Assisting in the development of public infrastructure policies (snow and ice, permitting, etc.)

  • Partnering with other governmental agencies (Old Colony Planning Commission, MassDOT, MassDEP, MassDCR, MEMA, FEMA) on projects within their jurisdiction located in the Town of Plymouth.
